Thousands of bees invade Coors Field during Diamondbacks-Rockies game in Denver (01:16)Thousands of bees swarming around a camera bay next to the Colorado Rockies' dugout caused a brief delay in Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The swarm suddenly appeared in the top of the fifth inning and the action on the field was halted for a couple of minutes, though the teams never left the diamond. The bees landed on a pole in front of the camera bay, forcing the camera operator to vacate his post. The bees were contained to the field-level camera bay and umpires determined that the game could proceed. During the sixth inning, a beekeeper arrived with a large vacuum cleaner. Without any further interruption to the game, the beekeeper gradually suctioned the entire swarm into a bag. The bees were to be relocated somewhere outside the stadium ... -

Matt Kemp leaves game with hamstring injury (01:10)Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp was forced to depart Sunday's game against the Rockies with what the team is calling an irritated left hamstring. In the third inning, Kemp pulled up while running out a grounder and then left the field after a brief meeting with the team trainer. The Los Angeles Times notes that it's the same hamstring Kemp first injured on May 5 in Chicago. He's slated for an MRI on Monday morning. Kemp is hitting .359/.446/.726 on the season and leads the NL in home runs and runs scored. Matt Kemp Says He's 'Definitely Not Going On Disabled List' Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Matt Kemp has an irritated left hamstring that caused him to leave Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies early. The All-Star and 2011 National League MVP runner-up will have an MRI on Monday to determine his status, but Kemp was sure the injury wouldn't cause him to be out for a long period of time. "I'm definitely not going on the DL. That's not happening," Kemp said. "This team needs me." Kemp first injured the hamstring last Sunday in Wrigley Field, and said it feels roughly the same a week later, with tightness.
